Shipping Policies and Schedule



IMPORTANT! Currently ALL In stock orders placed BEFORE 12pm. Wednesday ship on Thursday and Friday of each week. Depending on order load some may ship the following Monday.

Tracking information will be sent automatically via email once the orders has shipped and you will be notified of any back ordered items.


Free Shipping Promotion:

Any order under $99 ships for a flat rate $10.99 and any order over $99 ships FREE + Insurance!
We do bill for insurance to ensure that your package arrives in good condition or in the case that it is damaged we can file for a claim to replace your items.
Insurance is billed at $2 Per 100
Orders over $1000 have a flat rate $19.99 for insurance.

ATTENTION: If any items are backordered we will contact you to see how you want to continue with the order. You will have the option of a store credit, credit to your card on file or substitution for another item.

Please Note:
Some items are extra heavy/large or require special handling and packing, in which case UPS charges us additional fee's. These items do not qualify for shipping promotions and we must charge an additional shipping cost.

When ordering items that require additional shipping you will see an option like below in which you must make a selection.

Order 6 or more of any combination and receive free shipping. Just choose the Free Shipping Option.

All additional shipping costs associated with your order will be viewable by clicking "[+] View list of options I selected" under the corresponding product in your shopping cart.


Google Checkout
Due to integration with google checkout we are charging a flat rate of $9.99 and $1 for each pound.

Expedited Shipping Cost:
Next Day air and Other expedited shipping methods are calculated by the total weight of your Shopping Cart.

For Saturday Delivery:
If you so choose, you may have your package arrive on a Saturday. Please email us at support@saltysupply.com to request a Saturday delivery, otherwise shipments arrive on weekdays. UPS does not deliver on weekends and holidays.

Delivery Methods:
90% of our orders recieved before 3pm EST are processed and shipped the same day. Orders after this time are shipped the next business day. Backorder Items usually ship in about 5 business days or less. Please be sure you're items are not on backorder before contacting customer service. You can view the status of your order through "My Account" or "Track Orders" links on the top of the page. Availability is also marked on each product, we do our best to keep these updated.

Refusing Packages:
If the shipment is refused or marked "returned to shipper" by UPS, we will receive the packages back then issue a credit to the customer minus a 15% restocking fee plus any shipping costs associated with the order.. If not all items are refused, we will then credit back the remaining packages.

Leaving packages without signature:
UPS tracking information is sent to you via email, it is also available under your account. You can leave a note for the delivery man to leave the package at the door. But be aware that not all drivers will do this.

Tracking Numbers:
Tracking numbers for each days shipments are sent out via email and are also available in the "My Account" area on our website. You can also visit the track orders link at the top of the page. Please be sure you are logged in.

Missing Items:
Please be sure to check the amount of tracking numbers received, verify you have all boxes and supplies ordered and if you are certain you are missing items please check your order status. If an item was back ordered you will see it noted in your order status under My Account.

If an item is misplaced by UPS please give it a week to arrive then contact customer service.

Damaged Items:
If your items arrive damaged please contact us within 24 hours. All claims must be filed with UPS.

If the package is damaged by UPS or FedEx we will file the claim.
